[Intro]
Seek me, call me
I'll be waiting
Seek me, call me
I'll be waiting
[Verse 1]
This distance, this dissolution
I cling to memories while falling
Sleep brings release, and the hope of a new day
Waking the misery of being without you
Surrender, I give in
Another moment is another eternity
[Chorus]
(Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
(Seek me) Completion, (Call me) I'll be waiting
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
[Verse 2]
You know me, you know me all too well
My only desire - to bridge our division
In sorrow I speak your name
And my voice mirrors, mirrors my torment
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
Am I breathing?
My strength fails me
Your picture, a bitter memory
[Outro]
For comfort, for solace
(Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart

We are living dark times. Times when we're facing an invisible enemy that nobody is really sure of how to face it. Sometimes I feel like that scene from the Karate Kid (2010), with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith, where the boy is asked to "hang it up, take it down, put it on the ground, pick it up, put it on, take it off, ad infinitum" his coat. There is no consensus on what to do or where to run. Because of this, people are dying. People close to us. Besides, other diseases are manifesting more and more.
The pain of losing someone we know or that is related to someone close to us is unspeakable. We should be mourning all who are dying. They had their history, their family, their lives! Instead, we prefer arguing over unnecessary subjects. We prefer fighting because our "pet politician" does not agree with this or that. We prefer contending because my favourite brand is not yours. What really matters, lives, are being left behind. The resources to help preventing those numbers from scaling up are being stolen or hidden. This goes beyond Right or Left wing. Holding God's hands is what is left for us to do.
I totally support believing in researchers, doctors, and physicians to heal our wounds, because they studied to be where they are. Some are even post-doctored in their knowledge fields. I also support believing in divine inspiration and healing. Both strands should be walking together instead of on their own. Fanatics from both sides prefer throwing stones at each other instead of handing their pride and being open to new ideas, what have already happened to some famous scientists and preachers.
Unfortunately when someone dies we can't bring them back to life. It would be awesome reliving special moments, saying "I love you" one last time or just looking into their eyes and admiring it. Our hearts aches. It's broken in many pieces and, depending on the day we found ourselves remembering, we can't even find inner peace.
But there is one, only the One, who can give the comfort we need. There is only one Who can bring solace and peace. Jesus is the reason of wholeness. He is gentle and is only waiting for your call. He's waiting you to seek and call His name. As I have already said in many other posts, it doesn't mean there will be no more pain or problems, but there will be the Holy Ghost whispering to your mind good things, comforting your broken heart, and healing what hurts you the most.
We have chosen to be apart from Him. Sadly, most people only seek God when things are going bad, still, differently from the human being who brings bitterness to his/her heart and judgement, God is merciful and will hold whoever goes into His arms if we truly accept His guidance.
"And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
